Kate Boersen has spent more than a decade working in emergency management, natural hazards and risk communication.
Kate is passionate about making natural hazard information easier to understand and use, so people can make informed decisions.
She has worked with councils, scientists, researchers and emergency managers to help communities understand everything from floods and earthquakes to coastal hazards and climate risks.
Meet Alistair
Dr Alistair Davies has spent his career helping people better understand and manage natural hazards.
His experience spans flood risk consultancy, a PhD in Disaster Risk and Resilience, emergency management and insurance.
Alistair helps connect what we know about hazards with the practical questions property buyers and owners face.
